Images
An
image field as opposed to a graphic field is what will hold a cardholder
image. Image fields can be any size, however keep in mind that the
bigger the image is, the less space available for other information.
Images can be provided to ID's-PLUS in two ways:
- in a digital format such as a .jpg file
- an actual photo that we scan
If you capture the image(s) yourself here are a few points for
a good picture on an ID Card:
- The important thing is to have a good contrast between the
background and the subject. Use a solid color background behind
your subject. You can use a backdrop or even a wall if you like.
- Dark pictures do not work well. Take pictures in a well-lit
room, and use the flash if necessary.
- If you use a digital camera, generally the lowest resolution
setting is sufficient.
ID's-PLUS
requests that you take your pictures with the subject holding a
piece of paper with a reference number or name clearly visible.
This way it is easier for us to match the subject with their information.
It is very important that this identifying sheet NOT obstruct the
face of the subject. The example to the right will visualize this.
